Colombian singer Shakira yet again dissed her ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique in her new song ‘Copa Vacia’. The couple broke up after 11 years in June 2022. It was later revealed the reason for the split was due to the former FC Barcelona defender’s infidelity.

Since then, the Hips Don’t Lie singer has been throwing shade at him and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Martin. Back in January, she released a song called “BZRP Music Session #53” alongside Argentinian producer Bizarrap. In it, she sang  “I’m worth two 22-year-olds / You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo / You traded in a Rolex for a Casio.” This was aimed at Clara Chia who was then 22.

Now it seems, the Colombian singer is releasing another song at her former boyfriend. Releasing on the 29th of June, the song also features Manuel Turizo. The title of the song ‘Copa Vacia’ translates to the empty cup which could allude to her previous relationship. The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer shared a small preview of the song on her Instagram. In the video uploaded by her, the 45-year-old was enjoying herself while riding waves in the dazzling waters of Miami.

 The lyrics of the song said, “You are always busy with so much business/ You would do my love a little leisure/ relax here on the sofa and give me your attention. You don’t have to be a poet to sweeten my ear/ let go of the phone, use your hand with me/ I know you are good, but I am better.“ Many fans have speculated that these lines were about Gerard Pique. In the caption, Shakira innocently wrote, “On mermaid watch.”

Gerard Pique is all set to announce his engagement with his new girlfriend Clara Chia Martin.  According to reports, the former defender and his girlfriend were spotted shopping for engagement rings in Barcelona. They visited a shop where they inquired about getting a customized ring. The former Barcelona defender broke up with his ex-girlfriend Shakira in June 2022.

Sources close to the couple now reveal that they are intending to marry each other. They are planning to do so within the next month. The sources say that the couple has planned the ideal moment to make the good news public. The announcement will be made on another important date for the former defender.
