Sheikh Jassim, a wealthy Qatari businessman, has now decided against buying Manchester United. This surprised many on social media. This choice came after months of unsuccessful talks and rumors about taking over the historic English club.

The Glazers, the American group, have owned Manchester United since 2005. They initially bought it for £790 million and later sold 10% of the shares in 2012. However, they still own most of the club in the Premier League today.

Sheikh Jassim’s initial offer to buy Machetr United was set at £5 billion. The price tag and the ask from the Glazes have garnered much criticism and attention from the critics and football pundits. The latest developments of Sheikh Jassim’s withdrawal put a question mark and concern over the club’s ownership.

Another bidder, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the British billionaire and the CEO of Ineos has already taken 25% stakes in the Premier League club. Sir Ratcliffe is distressed as he expresses the unrealistic and fancy price tag for Manchester United.

The United fans will be keeping a close eye on the developments, but as of now the ownership of Manchester United remains uncertain.

Juventus urging to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United

Jadon Sancho, the prolific winger, has been a top choice for the Serie A giants, Juventus in the upcoming winter transfer window. Sancho arrived at Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund at  £73m in 2021.

The expectations were very high for the 23-year-old Englishman at the time of joining but followed by his underwhelming stint at, the club is considering listing him as a transfer. The winger has faced much criticism from the club’s management at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s head coach and manager has also left him out of the playing eleven in recent games. Juventus’ find for their lineup and Jadon Sancho’s falling out of favor by Erik ten Hag are much expected to be an escape route for the Englishman to continue his footballing career.
