In a recent update on Manchester United‘s ownership bid, Sheikh Jassim made a big move. He backed out of the bidding process, revealing that his main goal was to sign French football star Kylian Mbappe for the team. Furthermore, Sheikh Jassim shared his grand plans for the club’s future if he had succeeded in buying it. Creating further havoc amongst the Red Devils’ fans.
Besides going after Mbappe, Sheikh Jassim wanted to get Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich and Eduardo Camavinga from Real Madrid. This potential dream team got fans excited, as they looked forward to Sheikh Jassim taking over Old Trafford and ushering in a new era of football excellence. But it all changed when the Sheikh Jassim pulled out of the bids.
As of recent developments, the Qatari billionaire has withdrawn himself from becoming the potential owner of Manchester United. With the initial offer of $6 billion for the full ownership of the club, the purchase and negotiations led to a dead end. The Glazers, are in an intense complicated situation with debts and coverage to fulfill which even Sheik Jassim was willing to over-up. However, it seems like The Glazers will be in the ownership position as of now.
On the other hand, British Billionaire, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has also projected his interest in buying the Premier League giants. The football world will continue to keep a close eye on Manchester United’s ownership saga for the updates.
