After the current Major Soccer League 2022 season, he will retire. He now serves as a striker for both the Argentina National Team and American club Inter Miami. He has 12 goals this season from 14 games for Inter Miami. He has played for well-known teams including River Plate, Real Madrid, Napoli, and Juventus, and is currently playing for Inter Miami. In 64 games since joining Inter Miami in the year 2020, he has tallied 26 goals and 14 assists.
He is referred to as “El Pipita” by admiring and respectful fans. He has won numerous awards throughout his club career, including three LaLiga championships, three Serie A titles, a UEFA Europa League, a Copa del Rey title, three Coppa Italia titles, and many more. All football fans are saddened by the news, but everyone wishes him luck as he begins a new chapter in his life.
