SHOCKING: Premium restaurant refuses to serve Manchester United star

Antony

On Thursday night in Manchester, a fine dining restaurant turned away Manchester United star Antony. The winger for the Red Devils, who paid £85.5 million to join the team from Ajax in the summer, has excelled since getting to Old Trafford.

Antony has scored three goals in five Premier League games for Manchester United and appeared for 76 minutes in Wednesday’s 2-0 victory against Tottenham for United. This is the greatest performance under Erik ten Hag so far.

After the fantastic 2-0 victory over Spurs on Thursday night, the Brazilian was seen touring Manchester with friends.
After visiting fancy shops, he was seen leaving and entering the upscale steak and seafood restaurant Hawksmoor on Deansgate in the heart of the city.

The restaurant, however, refused to serve Antony and his group since it was already booked. The Brazilian celebrity entered Hawksmoor and then turned around to leave. After his earlier shopping spree, Antony was carrying a sizable Louis Vuitton bag, whilst his friends were each holding a few Selfridges bags. In the upscale Hawksmoor restaurant, 300g of monkfish may be had for the same price as a 300g steak, which can cost up to £40.

One such brilliant moment came from summer signing Antony, who supported the joy of the home environment by eliciting a response with the simple flash of his deft skills. Despite being a winger by trade, Antony has quickly gained popularity among the crowd thanks to his flashy movement and Arjen Robben-like talent at bursting in from the right side.

And only Ivan Perisic can attest to how difficult it is to stop the Brazilian attacker when he is in full flow, as he was seated on the Old Trafford ground while trying to regain control. Pierre-Emile Hjbjerg and Perisic were sold by Antony in a matter of seconds with skillful poise and impudent balance, leaving the latter performing his best splits impersonation. Although it’s far from a game-changing feat of talent taken directly from a Ronaldinho compilation, the Old Trafford crowd cheered when it happened.

Even if the Red Devils’ transition to life under Ten Hag has undoubtedly had its growing pains, you have to admit that – overall – they have appeared to be a team that has been refreshed, renewed, and reinvigorated. And with victories against Arsenal and Liverpool already under their belts at Old Trafford this year, United claimed Antonio Conte’s Spurs as their most recent “top six” victim in front of their supporters.
