On the Transfermarkt website, the Belgian is currently valued at €12 million, which is one of the lowest figures since he began playing professionally. His market value peaked in 2018 at €150 million (he has since lost 92% of that value), when he was one of the most crucial players for Chelsea’s Premier League squad.
He sustained that number for eight months, making him one of the most valued players in the Premier League and the entire football world. In the summer of 2019, when the attacker was at his best, Real Madrid made a move for the winger and paid €100 million even though the player only had one year remaining on his contract.
