Raphinha, the talented player for the highly acclaimed Spanish club Barcelona, turned down the opportunity to represent the Italian National Team. This occurred when he was a player for Leed’s United of the English Premier League. But after rejecting the offer, he was given the chance to play for his preferred Brazil.

One of the most renowned players of the time, Raphinha was largely celebrated when he was moved to Barcelona during the summer transfer window. With 11 caps and 5 goals in his international career, he has also emerged as a highly significant player for Brazil National Football team.

Raphinha was selected to play for Brazil in the Nation’s World Cup qualifying matches against Chile, Argentina, and Peru in August 2021. Raphinha made his full international debut on October 7, 2021, joining the team as a halftime substitute in a 3-1 victory over Venezuela. In his 45 minutes on the field, he won a penalty and assisted two goals.

Raphinha signed a five-year deal with La Liga team Barcelona on July 15, 2022, for a reported initial sum of £50 million, with the possibility of add-ons raising that figure to £55 million. He made his club debut on August 13 when the teams drew 0-0 in a league match against Rayo Vallecano. At the Camp Nou, he scored his first goal for Barcelona in a 0-3 victory over Sevilla.
