Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich submitted an official bid today to sign England Captin Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspurs. The player was attracting a lot of interest from top clubs in Europe in recent months and Bayern were one of them.
According to reports, Bayern has submitted an official bid of €70m + add-ons for Tottenham’s record goalscorer. Kane has just got a year left in his contract with the London-based club and the club might be tempted to let him leave following the bid. If not, then they might lose the player for free in the next year.
Bayern was a long-time admirer of Kane. Many critics anticipated the German club to bid for his services after Polish striker Robert Lewandowski vacated his seat at Bayern to join FC Barcelona in Spain.
Spanish Giants Real Madrid is another team who is interested to take up the services of Harry Kane after Karim Benzema left the club. The Frenchmen thought it was his time to start on a new adventure. He moved to Saudi Arabia to ply his trade with the current Saudi Pro League champions, Al Ittihad.
Tottenham has been very vocal about the idea of Kane leaving the club this summer. They feel that it isn’t an option as Kane is an integral part of the club. But there still haven’t been any talks about a possible extension of the striker after his contract expires in 2024. A few days back, famous Hollywood actor Tom Holland, who is a well-known Tottenham fan as well, urged Kane to move to Real Madrid for winning the Champions League he deserved. Tom said, “I’d say (Kane) to go to Madrid. Go and be the best football player in the world that you deserve to be.” Although the destination isn’t the same, Kane might be out for a new adventure soon.

Fans urge Harry Kane to force a move to Bayern Munich for winning silverware
Bayern Munich has officially bid a €70 Million + add-ons to sign Tottenham and England captain Harry Kane this summer. Bayern were searching for a new striker ever since Lewandowski left them last season. The Germans have been pretty appreciative of Kane’s goal-scoring ability and technical sensibility. They are now determined to sign the 29-year-old striker and bring him to Munich ahead of the upcoming season.
Fans are reportedly urging Kane to leave Tottenham and join Bayern Munich for winning silverware. They think that the club is keeping Kane away from winning big things in his career and suggests he move outside Tottenham to find success. Many been took to social media to give their opinion on the matter. One fan wrote, “This is his chance to win trophies, he should say yes to any of the proposals.” Another fan wrote, “Biggest upgrade in the history of football.” And a third fan wrote, “This is his chance to stat pad trophies.”
