“Social media world is full of fake news”- Ligue 1 club denies any transfer links to Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo
Olympique De Marseille of Ligue 1, president- Longoria denies all fake news and media links to Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to their club. He further added, “it’s the social media world full of fake news. We want reality. Ronaldo deal is not for us.” The president clearly denies all speculations and advanced on claiming that the social media world is full of fake news.
Longoria further added, “it’d be like saying that De Bruyne or Haaland is OM targets… let’s focus on our real project”, this implies that the president clearly feels that such a deal involving a huge player is far for them now, including top form players like Erling and Kevin of Manchester City. Social can add any name to anyone and the news would spread like fire.
Although many links were found for Cristiano to join other clubs, the other presidents couldn’t find the time to clarify exactly. OM, is a Ligue 1 team and a tough competitor for the league title of PSG, and joining the rival club which has Lionel Messi, could stir things up a bit in Ligue 1, though it’s not happening as of now.
