Sofyan Amrabat mat not have played a full 90 minutes in the Premier League since 2023. However, that didn’t stop the Moroccan midfielder from giving the footballing community a good laugh on social media. Known for his ability to engage in both attack and defense, one thing the midfielder doesn’t boast is hair. Even though a few minutes of digging on the internet will fetch you pictures of the player with hair, he has been bald for a significant part of the last decade.

What business does a man without a single strand of hair on his head have with a barber? Only Amrabat can answer that question as a video of the player surfaced on social media. His barber posed for the clip with a wide smile, probably for having the easiest of jobs with a client.

Following his €10m+€25m move to Old Trafford on deadline day, the midfielder has failed to establish his position in the starting line-up.

The player is yet to make the starting line-up this year and has only played one game for the Red Devils ever since returning from AFCON. His team was ‘poor’ at AFCON as well, with him being sent off as his side were knocked out in the Round of 16.

Fans laugh at Sofyan Amrabat’s ‘transformative’ haircut

Following a rough week in the Premier League, Sofyan Amrabat has finally given Manchester United fans something to laugh about. The video making rounds on social media reminded fans of an earlier clip of N’Golo Kante doing the very same thing. Some even compared it to Japan’s change of their national flag, which saw the color change to a darker shade of red.

Another mocked the player for having more haircuts than minutes played, then thought he was bald! A fan, who wasn’t a big fan of the Moroccan at United, asked him to get his haircut done and return to Italy. One of the most liked comments corrected the ‘cutting hair’ caption to that of cutting ‘air’. Tottenham Hotspur, who’ve made it a habit of catching strays, weren’t spared here as well.

A fan compared his new trim to that of Tottenham getting a new trophy cabinet, and we all know how ‘good’ Spurs are at winning trophies. While Amrabat got a new trim, some fans wanted the entire club to get one, starting with appointing the new manager. Some mocked Amrabat for joining a club like United and wasting away the prime years of his career. His contract with the club is on a year-long deal, after which United can opt to make the move permanent.
