Spurs midfielder James Maddison was captured in a hilarious video with teammate Harry Maguire. Maddison was seen struggling to drink water from his bottle and was captured continuously dropping the liquid from the other end of his sipper. The video has been making the rounds on the internet.
Many fans took to social media to troll his failed efforts, calling him a typical Tottenham Hotspur player for bottling even the simplest tasks. However, some were even on his side, contemplating that it was a complicated task to figure out a way to deal with new appliances.
James Maddison made several attempts to drink from the blue and yellow bottle, and the water continued to fall on the ground. Maddison has been on fire for Spurs this season, proving to be an influential signing for Ange Postecoglou.
It will be an issue for Gareth Southgate if he can keep up his form for his country during the international break. However, Maddison has constantly displayed his qualities for club and country, proving to be an essential asset in adversity.
James Maddison has a fantastic run for the Spurs so far
Tottenham Hotspur reclaimed the top spot in the Premier League after a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Luton Town. James Maddison once again proved to be their standout performer. Last season, Spurs struggled to find a primary playmaker, but this issue seems to have been addressed with the acquisition of Maddison. The former Leicester City midfielder recorded 32 assists during his five-year stint in the Premier League.

Maddison’s creative prowess was on full display as he orchestrated Micky van de Ven’s opener against Luton. He cemented his place as the current leader in the Playmaker Award chart with five assists and two goals. Remarkably, all seven of Maddison’s direct goal involvements have occurred away from home.
Tottenham overcame early challenges, including missed opportunities and a disallowed goal, thanks to Yves Bissouma’s crucial red card just before halftime. James Maddison’s creative leadership shone as they showcased their attacking prowess. Micky van de Ven’s goal made him the 167th player to score for the club in the Premier League. With James Maddison, Spurs have found the creator they needed post-Harry Kane, and he’s already making a significant impact this season.
