STUNNING: Liverpool unveils their brand new jersey for the 2022/23 season
The Premier League giants Liverpool recently unveiled their brand new Nike kit for the 2022/23 season which has received mixed reactions from fans over social media.
The official kit looks the usual Red with the name of the title sponsor, the logo of the club, and the Nike symbol all over it. The jersey is simple and bold with a “no-nonsense” attitude which matches the characteristics of the Merseyside people. It also contains the YNWA detailing on the sleeve cuff inspired by “Scouse solidarity” which makes the team unique.
Virgil Van Dijk, Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander Arnold, and even Jurgen Klopp posed in the new Nike jersey for the next season in the promotional video released on social media. It also featured women players including Missy Bo Kearns, Taylor Hinds, and Leighanne Robe, as well as manager Matt Beard. The video also featured Scouse musician Keio and local boxer Natasha Jonas in the video.
First-team captain Henderson said, “We’re all so proud to wear the Liverpool FC jersey and be part of the swoosh family. We know exactly what this jersey means to our fans, and we can’t wait to run out in it at Anfield.”
Can Liverpool finish the season with all the four trophies?
Liverpool is on the verge of winning probably all the competitions this season as they aim at winning the quadruple. They will play in the FA Cup final, the UEFA champions league final, and are one point behind Manchester City in the league title race, having already won the league cup this season.
Klopp’s side is looking unbeatable this season with Mohamed Salah and the company aiming at winning everything. They need a bit of luck to get ahead of Pep’s side in the Premier League and will face Chelsea and Real Madrid in the FA Cup and Champions League finals respectively.
