“Succesful People Reject Rejection”- Cristiano Ronaldo deletes Instagram story minutes after posting it amidst Manchester United transfer news

Cristiano Ronaldo
It has been almost a month since Cristiano Ronaldo openly admitted that he wanted to leave Manchester United this summer in search of a more competitive club and play in the Champions League.
However, so far, Cristiano Ronaldo has only got offers from MLS, Saudi, a potential return to Sporting and a potential move to Atletico Madrid. While he has rejected the first 3, he is still evaluating a move to his former club, Real Madrid’s arch-rivals.
However, amidst the uncertainty revolving around his future, the Portuguese star uploaded a story on his Instagram handle that said ‘Succesful People reject rejection’. A string statement implying that Ronaldo has been the one to reject all the under-par offers he’s got so far.
Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to stay at Manchester United after a lack of interest

At 37, Ronaldo is still one of the best players on the planet and a superb striker. Last term, the Portuguese managed 24 goals in 39 appearances playing with an underperforming Manchester United.
However, many have argued that Ronaldo himself is a big reason why the Red Devils are in such trouble. The player has a very specific style of play and the team must perform to accommodate him rather than him playing differently.
Moreover, Ronaldo’s wages are too high for him to sign for any club. Only specific clubs in Europe can afford to pay the players the kind of salary that he demands. Hence, to start-off Ronaldo has very few clubs to choose from.
Bayern Munich closed their doors to him almost instantly. PSG chose to go for younger strikers and Chelsea showed interest but Thomas Tuchel rejected the pursuit.
Rumours now suggest that Atletico Madrid is interested in replacing the departed Luis Suarez with Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the 37-year-old is still evaluating the move given that he spent 9 years in the Spanish capital playing for their rivals, Real Madrid.
Hence, the best move for Ronaldo could be to stay with Manchester United which is delighted to keep the player and hopes he can help them get back to top form.
