Apple TV+ just announced the release date of Ted Lasso‘s third season, which will premiere on March 15. The American sports comedy-drama television series is developed by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly. Apple TV+ made the much-awaited announcement on February 14.
The show will be premiered on a Wednesday and will become “the first Apple TV+ series to launch midweek,” according to the press release. During the press release, Apple TV + also confirmed that the third season of Ted Lasso will have 12 episodes of the antics of the newly promoted AFC Richmond crew.
Ted Lasso follows an American coach, who is hired to manage a football team with zero experience. Ted, however, makes up for his lack of knowledge and experience as a coach, with his optimism. The show also follows Ted’s boss, AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton, and the rest of the football crew. Season 3 will show Richmond’s success as they compete in the English top flight.

Fans of Ted Lasso who enjoyed the first two seasons will be eager to stream the upcoming season in March 2023. While the squad of AFC Richmond will also be seen donning Nike gear, as Nike will be manufacturing the club’s kits for the TV Show.
