According to some reports, current Ajax striker Antony could well be in a move to Manchester United as he is ready to leave Ajax to pair up with Erik ten Hag. The youngster is thought to possess a similar playing style as Cristiano Ronaldo has. There is much possibility of Ronaldo ending his time at the Old Trafford, and thus, pundits think Antony could fill up his space next season.

At the top of the list, ten Hag has Antony as the first choice transfer and Manchester United has supported his decision. They have to pay an amount of £50m to buy him from Ajax. 

The Brazilian striker, Antony, was signed by Ajax Amsterdam in 2020 from Sao Paolo in the summer transfer and had been a crucial player in the attacking lineup. In his debut season, Antony was seen scoring nine times and assisting eight times in 31 appearances, which was really impressive.

The 22-year-old has also scored 12 goals and assisted ten times this season under Eric ten Hag in 33 matches. Upon being given the upper hand on signing his choices of players for Manchester United, ten Hag eagerly wants Antony to be in the attacking line which fits in his plans. Antony and Ten Hag had paired up well at Ajax and now the youngster wants to move ahead in his career and thinks that the move would help him in the future.

This could be an intense action as both the team has everything to play for to get into the Champions League next season.
