“There will be trouble”- Atletico Madrid’s captain issues stern warning to Real Madrid’s Vinicius over his dancing goal celebration ahead of derby

Koke and Vinicius Jr

With the derby coming up later this week, Atletico Madrid captain Koke has warned Real Madrid starlet Vinicius Jr. In Karim Benzema’s forced absence due to injury, Vinicius has dominated the first half of the season and assumed the role of Real Madrid’s primary attacking player.

Due to Vinicius Jr’s sporadic showboating and the dance celebrations he brings out when he scores, he has been receiving criticism from some sectors, nevertheless. He was targeted by the opposition during their most recent La Liga game against RCD Mallorca, and they continuously fouled him in an effort to get inside his head.

The atmosphere at the Civitas Metropolitano will be hostile as Real Madrid seeks to maintain their perfect record this season. Tempers always tend to flare in Madrid derbies. The Atletico Madrid’s captain responded by acknowledging that everyone has their own method of celebration, but that there might be issues if Vinicius dances in front of the opposing fans.
