Lately, Thiago Sliva has been in rumors to terminate his contract with Chelsea and step out from Stanford Bridge to return to his childhood club Fluminense FC. Fans are very confused and also disappointed with the Brazilian for leaving the club in the middle of the problems instead of helping the club.
All these rumors and news have personally disappointed the player as well. But now the official news is out from Thiago Silva itself and famous agent Fabrizio Romano has confirmed it on his Twitter.
The Brazilian defender said, “There’s nothing between me and Fluminense now. I’ve extended my contract because I want to stay at Chelsea I even told my wife that I know nothing of these rumors of a meeting with the Fluminense board… I always respected my contracts.”
In his words, the Brazilian respects all his football contracts and will only leave Chelsea if his services were no longer required. Silva has been a key player for the Blues from the very start and has fulfilled his responsibility as captain.
This news of him staying in the club will make the fans happy and assured that one of the old stars of the blues will play for the club for the next few seasons.

Chelsea’s big mistake of this season
In this entire season, the blues have not clicked at the right time and have been very much below par. Many small clubs have stepped over Chelsea and the club has failed to make its mark in this season of the Premier League.

Chelsea has made the very pitiful mistake of sacking Thomas Tuchel. The higher authorities of the club sacked Thomas because he lost against Dinamo Zagreb in the first match of the Champions League and because he made a draw against Tottenham Hotspurs.
Just after the match against Tottenham the higher-ups of the club sacked Thomas and brought Graham Potter as his replacement. The higher-ups sacked the manager who helped the team to win the Champions League and the League title.
The expertise of Graham Potter didn’t work for the club at all and made things worse. Then suddenly sacked him and signed Frank Lampard. He also has not been to the mark and will get sacked.
The higher authorities of the club are speculating to sign Morricho Pochettino and want him to lead the squad next season. Many sources have confirmed that Pochettino is ready to make a move to Stanford Bridge.
