Thomas Muller set to extend his contract with Bayern Munich, can sign a fresh deal till 2025: Reports

In a recent interview, Thomas Muller clearly showed his intention of renewing his contract with Bayern Munich for the next few seasons. Bayern Munich officials confirmed on Monday that they have agreed on a new deal with Thomas Muller for the next three seasons.

The veteran mid-fielder has always been productive for the team with assists and goals throughout the seasons at Bayern Munich. He is expected to receive an earning of €20 million per season until 2025.

“We are in good talks. Both sides want it. I think a solution will be found in the end,” Müller said.

Bayern Munich has some players to hold on to avoid losing them in the transfer market. Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, and Manuel Neuer are all up for a club change but the German club desperately wants to hold them back at the club as big teams are eyeing their main men.

Despite the success in the league, Bayern Munich suffered a shocking Champions League defeat at the hands of Villarreal that ended their hope of confirming their place in the tournament’s semi-finals.
