The 30-year-old Arsenal player, Thomas Partey, is currently dealing with injuries and has been in and out of the team for a while. Despite being a crucial part of Arsenal’s second-place finish last season, injuries have kept him off the field. Partey joined Arsenal in 2020 from Atletico Madrid.

Before dating Janine, Partey changed his name to Yakubu after converting to Islam for his Moroccan girlfriend, Sara Bella. However, he later returned to Christianity and reclaimed his original name. Janine and Partey are closely monitoring their baby since announcing the pregnancy, receiving love and wishes from well-wishers.

Arsenal have been rumored to look for options to replace midfielder Thomas Partey

Arsenal seem all set to offload Thomas Partey from their squad this January, as they are looking into potential options who could replace the Ghanaian next season. He has been sidelined due to a thigh injury until the start of the New Year which has created several problems for the Arsenal midfield which lacks depth.

His latest spell on the sidelines has accelerated plans to cash in the player. Partey has missed more than 50 matches due to consistent injuries, with Italian side Juventus seemingly interested to buy the player. Partey is one of the team’s highest-paid players and has a contract that runs up to 2025. Former English midfielder, Gabriel Agbonlahor also suggested that Arsenal should let Partel leave.

Club experts recommend exploring other midfield options in the January transfer window, like Douglas Luiz, Martin Zubemandi, Ruben Neves, and Kalvin Phillips. Aaron Ramsdale might also need to step aside for David Raya, who is becoming the manager Mikel Arteta‘s preferred No.1.

A new midfielder would reinforce the Arsenal midfield and provide cover for other players like captain Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice.
