Thomas Tuchel frontrunner to take over Real Madrid’s manager role after Carlo Ancelotti’s departure: Reports

Chelsea fired Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday following the Blues’ Champions League loss against Dinamo Zagreb. According to recent reports, Thomas Tuchel will almost certainly move on to Real Madrid.
According to a report by The El Nacional, Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, has already begun hunting for Carlo Ancelotti’s replacement.
According to the same source, Perez is ready to hire Thomas Tuchel as the team’s new coach. The source also stated, Carlo Ancelotti’s future at Real Madrid is in doubt, and the 63-year-old Italian coach is thinking of retiring.
Thomas Tuchel’s unexpected dismissal
Just three months were all it took for Chelsea’s new owners to fire Tuchel. At Chelsea, the 49-year-old eventually played in his 100th and final game.
“On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the club. Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here,” read a club statement issued by Chelsea.
In January 2021, Chelsea hired Tuchel to take Frank Lampard’s place. He assisted Chelsea in winning the European championship later in May. Chelsea won the Club World Cup in February of this year after defeating Palmeiras in the championship game. Tuchel also won the UEFA Super Cup during his time as Chelsea’s head coach. He did, however, suffer two losses in the FA Cup finals.
Tuchel, may very probably return to the Bundesliga as the head coach of Bayer Leverkusen, according to certain other media reports. The German soccer team has played five games so far in the new Bundesliga campaign, but they have only been successful in winning few.
