Thomas Tuchel
New Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly will give manager, Thomas Tuchel complete control of Chelsea’s summer signings. The German boss will also receive a huge boost of £200(€235) million to sign new players. Chelsea is set to lose some key players on free transfers this summer while €115 million signing, Romelu Lukaku is also looking for the exit.
Among some players leaving include, Marcos Alonso, Toni Rudiger, and Andreas Christensen. Hence, Chelsea has identified Juventus’ Matthijs de Ligt and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele as a potential replacements. While the Blues could get their hands on Dembele for free, they will have to break the bank on the Dutch defender.
Thomas Tuchel could look to Bundesliga again in search of new talent

In the recent past, Chelsea has enjoyed mixed success when signing players from the German League. Some of their signings include Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, and Christensen. They could look to the Bundesliga again as they have set their eyes on RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku.
The French forward enjoyed one of the best individual seasons in Europe with 35 goals and 16 assists in 52 appearances. Nkunku is a player in high demand and Thomas Tuchel will have competition trying to convince the 24-year-old to sign for them. If Chelsea does lose Romelu Lukaku to Inter, they could also sign Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.
The 27-year-old is no longer Pep Guardiola’s first choice and could be sold to make space for new signings. Chelsea has also decided not to trigger the buy option on Atletico’s Saul Niguez. With N’golo Kante also in his last year of the contract, Thomas Tuchel could be on the lookout for a new midfielder as well.
