A decade ago, in December 2013, Luis Suarez showcased an outstanding performance in Liverpool‘s 5-1 victory against Norwich City in the Premier League, tallying four goals and one assist. This memorable match marked the occasion when Suarez became the first South American player to achieve a hat-trick in the Premier League.

The ex-Liverpool forward played 130 matches for the Reds, scoring 84 goals and providing 46 assists, making him an icon at the club. Suarez later moved to Barcelona for a record fee of ยฃ75 million, where he played 283 games and scored an incredible 195 goals.

During his three-year tenure at Anfield, Suarez loved playing against Norwich City. He fired 12 goals across six appearances, including three remarkable hat-tricks. Suarez is now set for a highly anticipated move in the winter transfer window, reuniting with former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba at Inter Miami.

Gremio manager Renato Gaucho confirmed Suarez’s departure earlier in the week, emphasizing the significant gap he leaves behind after scoring 27 goals in 52 appearances for the team.
