Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is reportedly upset with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly. The Spanish Tactician is upset as the Blue board chose Frank Lampard as the Interim manager for the season. The La Liga-winning manager wanted to join the Blues immediately as a manager after Graham Potter was sacked. 

Luis Enrique reportedly flew to Stamford Bridge to talk with the Chelsea Hierarchy. There were speculations that Luis Enrique was one of the potential candidates after Graham Potter was sacked. The club and the coach differed cause the Todd Boehly-led board wanted to wait before hiring a permanent manager. They wanted to hire managers who would be permanent in the next season. The club as a result gave Frank Lampard a chance to be the interim manager for the rest of the season.

The Spanish tactician has won four La Liga trophies, champion of Copa Del Rey five times. The Spanish coach took a long gap of 4 years before being appointed as the head coach of the national team of Spain in 2019. Enrique has experience in La Liga and Serie A, and now wanted an opportunity to coach in Premier League campaigns after resigning from Spain’s National Team. Lucho resigned as the Head coach of Spain due to their poor performance in the World Cup Round of 16.

The Chelsea club has put a standby for Julian Nagelsmann and others.  The club wants to scout a bit more on their options in hand before they hire their next permanent manager. The club has thus appointed Frank Lampard as interim Chelsea manager for this season.

The Chelsea team and their board are going through turmoil. The team has failed to register a single point in the last three matches. The motive of the club to sack Graham Potter in the middle of the season and replace him with Interim Caretaker Frank Lampard looks bleak near the horizon. The question right now is who would be the next coach of the West English club. 

Frank Lampard has gained supporters in favour of him. Carlo Ancelotti has voted in favour of the former English Midfielder saying him to be the right manfor the job before Chelsea’s Champions League tie with Chelsea. 

While Julian Nagelsmann remains the most favourable candidate to become the next possible permanent coach. The German Tactician has been under Blue’s radar since he got sacked by Bayern Munich. 

While the club also has taken Enzo Fernandez’s suggestion on his former club. The Argentine midfielder has advocated for his former coach Marcelo Gallardo. 

While the captain of Chelsea, Cesar Aspilicueta has spoken in favour of his National team coach. The player said that he would like Luis Enrique as the next permanent manager as he had the best time while playing for Spain.
