Toni Kroos
Real Madrid’s German playmaker, Toni Kroos has reportedly decided to not renew his current contract with the Los Blancos. The midfielder’s current deal expires in June 2023 and he doesn’t wish to renew for a further year, should his performances drop and he becomes a burden to the club.
Real Madrid has already signed Eduardo Cammavinga, Aurelien Tchouemi and Fede Valverde as long-term replacements for Kroos and Modric. But manager, Carlo Ancelotti still trusts Toni Kroos to control his midfield and that hasn’t changed.

Toni Kroos has often spoken about retiring early from football having won all the major trophies there are to win at both club and international levels. The German has 1 World Cup, 1 Confederations Cup, 5 Champions League and numerous other titles.
A report by SER Deportivos said on Twitter, quoting from the radio show hosted by Francisco José Delgado, “Toni Kroos will not renew with Real Madrid. He prefers to wait and does not want to be a burden to the club. An answer that has surprised Real Madrid.”
