Toni Kroos, the Real Madrid legend, explained why succeeding at Real Madrid is so tricky. He has also explained why he does not use superlative words to describe new signings.

Kroos asked a series of important questions about a player’s individuality. He said, “Just talent, a technique, or a shot is not enough. How strong are you physically? How do I deal with setbacks? How susceptible to injury am I? are some of the questions that define a player’s career. These parameters cannot be scouted beforehand.”

He also added about players trying to create their own identities at Real Madrid. He also highlighted the psychological stress of representing a big club. He said all these questions do not have a definitive answer. It varies from individual to individual, and solutions cannot be predicted.

Hence, Toni does not use superlatives to describe new players. He believes he does not know how a player can adapt to Real Madrid and thus remains neutral on them. Thus, Kroos expects players to be worthy of praise only if they prove their mettle at Real Madrid. This was seen when Kroos took a subtle dig at a departing Eden Hazard, who had a bad spell at Real.

The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga continues this summer. The Frenchman has been put up for sale by PSG, and they have received plenty of offers for the Frenchman. However, his dream club, Real Madrid, has not yet approached PSG.

The Los Blancos already have an agreement in principle with the forward for a transfer in 2024. The club believes they will snap up the forward for a free transfer later. Thus, they have made no moves for him this summer and have not negotiated with PSG.

Instead, PSG received a €300 Million offer for the Frenchman from Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal. The club is also ready to pay Mbappe a mouth-watering €700 Million for a one-year contract. They also intend to release Mbappe to Real Madrid in 2024 so that he can honor his commitment to the club. Mbappe has not yet commented on the situation as he mulls over his choice.
