Toni Kroos‘ reputation on the pitch has been nearly unmatched for a greater part of the last decade. The former Germany and Real Madrid midfielder is also active on social media, with his bold takes and comments. However, fans have struck gold with the midfielder’s latest reply to a comment under his post. The Madrid #8 saw the funny side to a comment, and the internet hasn’t stopped laughing ever since.
Toni Kroos is currently enjoying his holidays as Real Madrid enjoys being at the top of La Liga for Christmas. The maestro took to Twitter and posted a picture with his grandfather. He captioned the image ‘Frohes Fest soll ich ausrichten. Vom Chef persönlich’. This translates to ‘Happy Holidays, from the boss personally’. The images show both Kroos and his grandfather wearing Christmas jumpers. Kroos wore a red sweater with a bear print while his grandfather wore one that had a polar bear wearing a Real Madrid cap.

A fan asked Kroos “Hi Toni, is he your dad?”, to which the German had a witty reply. Many were surprised to see Kroos himself reply to the question. He replied “No, my brother,” much to the amusement of fans.
The player’s response has gone viral on social media, with his comment already on 12.6K likes and over 350 replies.

Toni Kroos’ witty response to a fan’s question has gone viral on social media. His serious nature on the pitch may easily fool the average football fan. The 33-year-old’s comment has surprised many as supporters are excited to see the funny side of Kroos. A fan commented that his grandfather still looks younger than Luka Modric. A majority of the comments featured users expressing their disbelief and surprise at Kroos giving such a reply.

Thousands of messages were just fans spamming messages of laughter emojis. Others spammed pictures of ‘Let him cook’ with Kroos holding a wok in the kitchen. Another comment that had several likes was that this was one of the best shots by the German sniper. Others praised the German for his brutal reply. Some even begged the #8 to renew his contract with Real Madrid.
As of now, Kroos’ contract with Los Blancos ends in June 2024, with no news of an immediate extension. Even though Kroos has retired from the National team in 2021, but is rumored to be plotting a comeback for Germany in the 2024 Euros. He has made 23 appearances for Real this season, scoring once and setting up 6 goals. His last game for Madrid came in a late 1-0 win against Deportivo Alavés to go top of La Liga.
