Denzel Dumfries has earned a lot of praise since his €14 million move to Inter Milan last season. The fullback played 45 games for Inter last season scoring 5 goals and assisting 7. He was the perfect replacement for Achraf Hakimi, but Inter is ready to part ways with the Dutchman to raise funds.
Inter have reportedly set a £26 million price tag Denzel Dumfries and Manchester United might find it rather cheaper than their other targets. Dumfries’ pace and physique are definitely admired by Eric ten Hag who could bring the 26-year-old to Old Trafford.
2. Jurrien Timber
21-year-old Jurrien Timber was one of the first names tipped to join Manchester United when Eric ten Hag was announced as the new manager. The right-back who can also play as a centre-half enjoyed an amazing season with Ajax and would form a good partnership with Rafael Varane.
Timber would definitely be a great addition to the squad, however, reports suggest that the young Dutchman has reportedly rejected a move to Old Trafford this Summer. The player wants Champions League football while United play the Europa League.
3. Antony
Not an ideal right-back but Antony could definitely play in that position, should Eric ten Hag play him there. The 22-year-old is an amazing dribbler and carrier of the ball and would be the perfect offensive fullback for Manchester United.
While Antony could cost upwards of £45 million, he would add a lot more versatility to the team and be a future asset for the club. Antony is reportedly ready to move to Manchester United and is awaiting the two clubs to finally reach an agreement.
