Tottenham aim to bring in Manchester United defender
Rumors are surfacing regarding the future of Harry Maguire. According to a report, the next destination for the England and Manchester United defender comes in the unlikely source of Tottenham Hotspur. As per media outlet fichajes.net, the 30-year-old defender is well-admired by Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou.

It is no secret that the €89 million defender has down the pecking order at Erik Ten Hag‘s United and also of the transfer links to West Ham. Both clubs had agreed upon a fee and the move was imminent until personal talks broke down. Consequently, Maguire ended up staying at Manchester United.
However, the 2023 season has seen Maguire drop to 5th choice at center-back. So, he is likely to listen to offers from other clubs. Spurs are likely to swoop in for the defender in the Winter transfer window in January, with sources claiming that the Englishman is their primary target.
Spurs have had a great start to their season, having found gold in their starting defensive partnership of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven. While Eric Dier serves as a backup for the two.
But it is understood that the arrival of Maguire will bring in necessary leadership in the dressing room. Also helping the relatively young defensive partnership with much-needed leadership. The rumors must, however, be taken with a pinch of salt, even though the circumstances are all pointing to the same.
