Ange Postecoglou was left unhappy by the antics of a German journalist during a press conference on Sunday ahead of their match against Leicester. Tottenham star man Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the North London club after they were unable to qualify for the European spot last season. Also, he has just one more year left in his current contract.
Bayern Munich has emerged as a strong contender to acquire the services of the Englishman as Daniel Levy is refusing to sell him to a Premier League side. Postecoglou was asked numerous questions about the player but he avoided most of them. He replied to one saying nothing has changed in Kane’s situation.
But the journalist who was from BILD then pulled out a customized Bayern jersey with Kane’s name written on the back with the number 9. The reporter then said that the jersey looked quite good. This angered Postecoglou and he responded by saying, “Did you get a good laugh? Got what you got? Maybe? Very good, you came a long way for that, thank you.”
BILD was the first to report that the striker has agreed personal terms with the Bavarian club this season. However, Spurs have rejected two offers from them already and according to them, their valuation for the player has not been reached yet. It remains unknown whether the player will leave this season or the next when his contract expires and he’s free to join any club he wants.
Tottenham wants record-breaking bid from Bayern to sell Harry Kane

Tottenham is getting ready for a significant offer from Bayern Munich, who persistently pursue the England captain. Despite having their initial two offers rejected, Bayern remains optimistic about reaching an agreement this summer. Although Tottenham is eager to retain Kane’s services for the long term, the 29-year-old is reportedly open to a move to Germany.
Bayern shows no sign of giving up, and recent reports suggest they are preparing a third bid for the striker. Football Insider claims that Bayern will return with an ‘enhanced and improved’ offer, expected to surpass Tottenham’s record club sale.
Gareth Bale’s £85m transfer to Real Madrid in 2013 remains Tottenham’s highest sale, but Bayern’s latest bid is rumored to exceed that amount. Losing Kane at this stage would be a significant setback for Tottenham, but they are in a tough spot as his contract is set to expire next summer.
