Twitter erupts as Cristiano Ronaldo scores the 50th hat-trick of his club career, secures the fifth spot for Manchester United in Premier League 2021-22

Cristiano Ronaldo scores yet another hat-trick in his career to take the tally to fifty career hat-tricks at the club level as he nets three times against Norwich City at Old Trafford to take Manchester United to the fifth position. Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals in the first half to give the Red Devils an early lead before Norwich City pulled two goals back in both halves to bring the scoreline to equal terms.

Manchester United moves to the fifth spot and gets a total of 54 points from 32 matches with eight matches to play. Ronaldo scored in the seventh minute from an Anthony Elanga pass following a superb header goal as they went 2-0 up in the 32nd minute. Norwich’s men pulled one back from Dowel’s goal at the end of the first half. In the second half, a goal from Teemu Pukki brought the visitors back on level terms before Cristiano Ronaldo’s brilliant taken freekick which went past the Norwich goalkeeper to give them a 3-2 lead as it ended.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the first player in history to score 50 club hat-tricks as he nets yet again for Manchester United to reach this feat. He scored three hat-tricks for Manchester United, 44 for Real Madrid, and three for Juventus. Ronaldo scored ten hat-tricks for Portugal to take his career hat-tricks tally to 60.
Ronaldo has now scored 21 goals for Manchester United this season in all competitions. He scored a brilliant free-kick for a club for two years now which takes his free-kick tally to 58 in his career.

Manchester United vs Norwich City: As it took place at Old Trafford

Manchester United is in the race for the top four spots in the Premier League along with Arsenal and Tottenham. Arsenal and Tottenham both the teams lost their tie in the fixture on Saturday which helped the Red Devils to occupy the fifth spot with eight games remaining this season. Manchester United got three points as they defeated the 20th-placed team, Norwich City, 3-2, courtesy of Ronaldo’s one header, one right-footed goal, and one brilliant free-kick goal.
