Tottenham Hotspur skipper Son Heung-min‘s brother, Heung-yun Son playfully taunts him about the 2019 UCL final loss to Liverpool in a recently resurfaced viral video. The video was filmed for an Amazon Prime Video show in 2021.

Spurs lost to Liverpool by a 2-0 scoreline, in the finals of the 2019 UEFA Champions League, which would be one of the North London side’s closest opportunities to win a trophy after a long gap. The club has faced criticism for its trophy drought, with the last significant title being the FA Cup in 1991. A win in the 2019 UCL final would also have solidified Son Heung-Min’s status as the top Asian player in European football.

In a recently rediscovered video from two years ago, Son’s brother Yun playfully mentioned Spurs forward’s loss to Liverpool in the UCL final. This happened during an interview about Yun’s European accomplishments. The brothers displayed their affectionate bond, sharing a laugh. Son, the South Korean player, seemed thrilled to be back with his dear brother.

Meanwhile, Son had a decent 2018-19 season with Spurs, forming an integral part of Mauricio Pochettino‘s line-up that reached the final of the UCL. Playing a crucial role, he contributed with 20 goals and 10 assists in 48 appearances.
