Former Barcelona, Spain defender and Colombian pop singer Shakira’s ex, Gerard Pique was involved in an on-stage misshappening. In a viral clip, the player can be seen approaching a fan who held his jersey from the stands. However, as he approached the enthusiastic fan, he fumbled badly as he did not observe a gap.
Further, it was also seen that Pique was seen using his phone while walking towards the fan. So, he might have not seen the gap. Also, the gap is understood to be more than 2 meters deep causing his fall to definitely be hurtful.
The 6-foot 4-inch man completely vanished from the video as he fell in, and was not seen standing back up immediately. Pique was apparently in Mexico for the launch of a new version of the seven-a-side, Kings League that he set up in 2022.
Meanwhile, fans online were quick to respond to the matter as they humorously linked the fall to the resurfaced tensions with ex-wife Shakira. Subsequently, they joked about how it would have put a smile on the Colombian pop star’s face to see her ex hurting. However, Pique is yet to confirm if he suffered an injury in the fall.

As Gerard Pique missed his stepping and fell straight into a hole on stage, fans reacted humorously on social media platforms. One of the fans commented, “What’s funnier is that people aren’t even that bothered.” Meanwhile, most of the fans were on-sync sarcastically taking hits on Shakira as one commented, “I just know Shakira somehow had a hand in this ?.”
