Things have gone sour between Newcastle United and PSG as a brawl broke out between either faction ahead of their Champions League clash. As per videos circulating on social media, fans of either club have clashed at a pub, with chairs, bottles, and glasses being thrown at each other. Multiple videos show violent incidents that broke out between fans ahead of the return fixture.

Tomorrow’s visitors won the first meeting 4-1. Group F matches have been tense, with clashes between fan groups. Before the Newcastle vs Borussia Dortmund game, a brawl erupted in late October. In September, a Newcastle United fan was stabbed three times before the AC Milan match.

This led to fans taking shelter inside the pub as both parties launched items at each other.

‘Do or die’ for Newcastle as PSG seek revenge against The Magpies

Newcastle make the visit to Parc des Princes, knowing fully well that a loss would mean elimination from the group stages. The visitors find themselves at the bottom of Group F, having 4 points from 4 games. However, the ‘Group of Death’ is living up to its bidding, as 3 points separate the 4 teams. Each side has their destiny in their own hands, and victory against PSG would provide a significant boost for Newcastle’s qualification.

As for PSG, losses against Newcastle and Milan place them second, with 6 points from 4 games. A Newcastle side depleted by injuries will look to claim at least a point as Kylian Mbappe and co. will be out for revenge against the Premier League side. Eddie Howe will be without important players such as Sven Botman, Dan Burn, Harvey Barnes, Joe Willock, and Callum Wilson among others. Sandro Tonali remains suspended.

PSG will unleash an attacking trio of Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, and Gonçalo Ramos against Newcastle’s makeshift back four. However, Luis Enrique will be without Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe, Marco Asensio, and Nuno Mendes. The game will kick off at 8:00 pm GMT at the Parc des Princes.
