“Unai Emery is the king of the cups, it is unbelievable what he is doing”- Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ahead of his team’s tie against Villarreal in UEFA Champions League 2021-22

In a recent interview with BT sport, Jurgen Klopp hailed Villarreal’s manager, Unai Emery, as his team beat Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League 2021-22 to book their place in the semi-finals against Liverpool. It came after Emery’s men held the Bavarian Giants 1-1 in Allianz Arena to win 2-1 on aggregate.

‘If I could do an analysis of Villarreal right now that would be very strange, I saw the results, the game was very impressive. I only picked up pieces, but to beat Juventus and Bayern Munich, they deserve to be in the Champions League semi-finals,” said Klopp.

Unai Emery is the king of the cups, it is unbelievable what he is doing. But give me a bit of time to prepare it properly,” added the German manager.
