“Wasn’t hitting out at all”- West Ham United star clears stance after renowned media house portrays him firing shots at poor football fixture selection

Declan Rice

West Ham United‘s star Declan Rice took to his Twitter to clear out the misinterpretation of his statement in which he’s giving an interview to the ‘Sky Sports Premier League’ mentioning the number of games he has played in the season, “From June to June I played 68 games” said the Englishman.

The media house later interpreted the statement as a hitting-out remark for the rising number of football games in a year. To which, Declan confirmed in a retweet and said, “Wasn’t hitting out at all”, he even mentioned how much he loves playing football and would want to play more.

The misunderstanding of words later got all sort out as the star himself settled everything later, clarifying the doubts the management and the fans were having regarding his complaints about the current form in which the Premier League is running its business. The word that got out was not appropriate so there was a need to clarify.

The English side West Ham United has confirmed the return of their legend; Mark Noble, this time as an off-ground official as their new Sporting Director and shall join in January of 2023. The Premier League side since the start of the new season 2022-23 has been struggling a lot and has only terribly reached the 6 six spot.

The appointment of a new Sporting Director was as important as it is mandatory. It is surely going to be a hell of a ride for the legend as well to manage such a team, the wrath of which has taken them to their doom. The only players that are still playing their football at some good level is Declan Rice in the middle and Kurt Zouma at the back.

The team is definitely struggling and is finding it really difficult to score. Having only one game in their corner from the last five that they have played and just one draw somehow. The team needs new players, and some valuable signings, and David Moyes must look into the matter as January would be late.
