Real Madrid were drawing their 5th match in the Champions League against Napoli. Giovanni Simeone opened the scoring but Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham got Madrid a goal up by halftime. Just two minutes after the 2nd half started, Zambo Anguissa scored Napoli’s equalizer. Real Madrid kept searching for their 3rd goal and academy graduate Nico Paz got it for them in the 84th minute.
Receiving the ball from Antonio Rudiger, Paz got past a man with beautiful skill and took a shot from outside the box. Alex Meret, the Napoli Keeper, managed to get a hand to the powerful strike but it wasn’t enough as the ball hit the back of the net.

Joselu hammered the final nail in the coffin, as he scored in the 94th minute to win Real Madrid the game 4-2. This win now confirms Real Madrid will be at the top of their Champions League group, with 15 points.

The most successful club in Champions League history have continued their incredible run in the tournament, as they are unbeaten this season. Being drawn with Union Berlin, Napo, li, and SC Braga, many expected Madrid to be the table toppers.

They started their season with a 1-0 victory over Union Berlin, with Jude Bellingham scoring a last-minute winner. Their next game with Napoli was another tough fixture, as Real needed to score 3 goals to ensure 3 points. The next two games were cake walks, as Real beat Braga 2-1 and 3-0. After beating Napoli 4-2, they were now 15 points and 8 points clear with a game to go. They will now travel to Berlin to play Union Berlin in their final group-stage match.
