Achraf Hakimi is a football player who gained worldwide fame for his incredible football skills. His mother Sadia Mouth has saved him from possibly going bankrupt. The two were seen dancing together after winning the divorce case of his former partner.
He married Spanish actress Hiba Abouk in 2020. The couple had been living together for the past three years and have two children. Hiba approached the court for a divorce and filed a lawsuit claiming half of the football player Hakimi’s property, money and jewellery as alimony. However, in shock for her, the football player has registered all the property, house, money, jewellery and car he bought in his mother’s name.
Gaining prominence during the 2022 World Cup, Hakimi’s mom repeatedly caught attention as she kissed her son on the cheek after matches. The love between them has been subjected to interest since Morocco’s incredible run where most players were seen with their mothers after triumphs which are rarely-seen moments capturing the fans’ hearts.
Out of affection for his mother, Hakimi registered every property in his mother’s name from the beginning. Also, he keeps the money from playing football in his mother’s bank account. Thus Hakimi did not have a property, not even any spare cash. What Hakimi did out of love for his mother has saved him now. When a journalist asked Hakimi about this, he said, “My mother is everything to me.”

Achraf Hakimi of Paris Saint-Germain has recently gone through divorce proceedings with his wife, Hiba Abouk. In these proceedings, Abouk demanded half of Hakimi’s properties. However, it was later revealed that over 80% of his net worth is controlled by his mother. Abouk not being able to touch almost any of her husband’s wealth has led to the internet praising Hakimi for being business savvy. Another famous personality who went in the opposite direction was Shaquille O’Neal.
Shaquille O’Neal, a former basketball player was forced to pay alimony to his former wife. This isn’t the case any longer however as she’s since remarried, tying the knot with Keion Henderson. He admitted several times over that he didn’t think things through when he was married to Shaunie O’Neal. The two would be married from 2002 to 2007 before divorcing after just half a decade of marriage. Shaqir O’Neal, his son, put it up on his Instagram story sharing Hakimi’s recent divorce post.
The reasoning behind why they would decide to split despite sharing 4 children was due to infidelity on both sides. In their divorce, the Los Angeles Lakers legend was forced to relinquish $50,000 of his wealth each month. $10,000 for his alimony towards his ex-wife, which comes up to $120,000 per year, and another $10,000 in child support for each child they share, which brings the child support total up to $40,000. However, Hakimi has escaped any such issues due to him registering almost everything under his mother’s name.
