Barcelona, after an epic win against Espanyol, lifted the league title after four years. The Catalan club defeated its opponent by 4-2 in Cornella-El Prat. As Barca was crowned the champions of the Spanish league Espanyol were in relegation and still has the threat of relegation after a defeat against their rivals.
Robert Lewandowski scored the opening goal in just the 11th minute and was able to double the lead in the 40th minute. Alongside Lewandowski, Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde were also on the score sheet.
The rivals on the other side were able to only score two goals. Javi Puado and Joselu were on the score sheet from the Espanyol side. Both the clubs are rivals and have had many heated matches before.
And this match was no different where on one side Barca won the league on the other side Espanyol got even closer to relegation. The match got worse when the frustrated Espanyol fans ran furiously on the pitch.
Together many fans invaded the field in anger at their club getting relegated. Immediately all the Catalan club players were sent into the tunnel by the security and were protected by the guards till the end of the chaos.

Is Messi to Barcelona possible?
Lionel Messi has decided to leave the French club and is hoping a move to Camp Nou this summer. On the other side, the Catalan club is also trying its best to bring back the little star.
But the current conditions of the club are not letting Joan Laporta sign Messi. Barcelona is in a severe condition of financial crisis. And to sign the little star the club will have to reduce its wage bill to a great extent. But with current players on the wage bill, the club can’t sign the player at all.
And that’s why Barcelona has decided to sell as many players as possible. Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, and Raphinha are among those players who will leave the club this year to make room in the wage bill to sign Messi.
And if needed the club would also sell Frenkie de Jong and Franck Kessie. But still, there is no such offer for all three players from any clubs. So for now Messi to Barcelona is not easily possible.
