A video of Chelsea striker Timo Werner enjoying a rollercoaster ride circulated on social media platforms.
The Chelsea squad alongside Werner went to an amusement park during their pre-season tour in the US. The German forward’s jovial expressions were liked by the fans and the video was a hilarious one.
Chelsea started their pre-season on 17th July against club America which they won 2-1 with Werner and Mount scoring. However the Blues lost their second pre-season fixture against MLS side Charlotte FC in penalties 5-3. Their final game in the pre-season is against premier League rivals Arsenal tomorrow.
Timo Werner to leave Chelsea?
Timo Werner is reportedly wanting to leave Chelsea this summer, but Thomas Tuchel has refuted such rumors.
The 26-year-old scored 23 goals in 89 games for Chelsea but has failed to make an impression since his £47.5 million transfer from RB Leipzig in 2020.
According to a report from Sky Germany on Friday, Werner is looking for a move during the transfer window due to friction between Tuchel and him, and a transfer to the Bundesliga is an option. Tuchel said on Friday when asked whether there was any truth to the claims, “I don’t think so.”
Since joining Chelsea from RB Leipsic, Timo Werner hasn’t been very prolific in front of the goal, and with the new season approaching the German will look to get in form.
