Cristiano Ronaldo scored the equalizing goal which was assisted by Nemanja Matic against Chelsea within two minutes of the Blues taking the lead on Thursday. It was a stunning goal from a well-executed chip from Matic over the defenders to find the former before Ronaldo smashed it inside the net.
Interestingly, Cristiano Jr. and Matic’s son, Filip, emulated the style of scoring the goal during a recent training session. After successfully creating the goal, both the kids went in front of the camera to perform the iconic “SIUU” celebration.
The season has nothing new to offer to the Red Devil lovers but Ronaldo has contributed immensely to the side. Whether Ronaldo stays or departs will depend on Rangnick’s and Erik ten Hag’s plans for the next season.

Cristiano Ronaldo rejoined Manchester United after twelve years in a shocking transfer with talks being held initially with Manchester City. Ronaldo turned out to be the best player at the age of 37, still performing and achieving heights with his passion and hunger. The Portuguese star has 22 goals in all competitions this season which is the highest of any other Red Devil player.
Ralf Rangnick feels that Ronaldo should stay at Manchester United but would have to consult and fit into Eric ten Hag’s plans for the next season. Meanwhile, Rangnick will stay as a consultant to the team but the managerial charge will be taken by ten Hag.
Ronaldo has one year of his contract left at OId Trafford but the performance of the team didn’t match the nature of Ronaldo who is always for trophies wherever he goes. Ronaldo has never been a silent footballer and not lifting trophies might well disappoint him which could lead to his exit.
