Discarded Manchester United defender Eric Bailly could leave the club for Saudi Pro League team Al-Nassr. He has talked to his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo who currently plays there. He spent an unimpressive loan campaign last year in Marseille.

He has been granted permission not to return for pre-season training with Manchester United and was not included in the squad that traveled to the USA. As a result, Bailly is eager to secure an exit from the club, and Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr seems to be a possible destination.

After the recent incoming of Manchester United left-back Alex Telles, who was also loaned out last season, to the Saudi Arabian side, Sky Sports reports that discussions are underway between the Red Devils and Al-Nassr to send Bailly there as well. A potential three-year contract worth £20 million has been contemplated for the injury-prone center-back. He is currently in the final year of his deal at Manchester United, with the option for an additional year.
