WATCH: Cristiano Ronaldo’s £1.8 million Bugatti Veyron crashes into a house in Majorca
According to Spanish media, Cristiano Ronaldo’s supercar, worth £1.8 million, crashed into a house in Majorca on Monday. The Manchester United superstar is on vacation with his family in Mallorca before returning to the United Kingdom for preseason, which begins later this month.
According to El Periodico Mediterraneo, the Bugatti Veyron was being driven by a Portuguese superstar’s employee when it crashed into the entrance of a house on Monday morning. The driver of the vehicle is said to have suffered no serious injuries, but the front of the vehicle has sustained extensive damage.
In addition to being one of the greatest players in football history, the record-breaking goalscorer enjoys supercars and has his collection worth around £17 million. Fans were given a glimpse of his range of cars, which included a Ferrari 599 GTO, a McLaren Senna, and a pair of Rolls-Royces, in a recent documentary about his partner Georgina Rodriguez.
According to reports, the car involved in the incident was one of two shipped over by the United star to join him in Majorca. Ronaldo has been posting pictures from his vacation, but he will be focused on his return to Carrington and his first chance to impress the new manager.
Cristiano Ronaldo might part ways with Manchester United ahead of next season
Despite being nominated in the PFA Team of the Season, Ronaldo had a miserable season at United, as they failed to qualify for the Champions League. His dissatisfaction with the club’s pile of difficulties has reached a point where he is ready to depart. Ronaldo does not believe he is a part of new manager Erik ten Hag’s plans for the Red Devils, according to La Repubblica.
His agent, Jorge Mendes, has already started looking for a new club for his client and is scanning for possibilities. Despite finishing as United’s top scorer last season, his readiness to play under Ten Hag’s style has long been questioned. Ronaldo does not appear to be waiting to find out, as he searches for a new club for the second summer in a row.
