David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga are clear examples of the good atmosphere that exists at Real Madrid. The two players maintain an exceptional relationship and seek each other out to joke around. In an incident on Sunday after Los Blancos won the Copa del Rey, Alaba slapped Camavinga from the back in a friendly manner during the celebrations.
Camavinga also said, “He’s just a great guy, as great as they say. He’s someone who talks to you and helps you a lot, we have a very good relationship. If I do something wrong, he will firmly let me know about it.” Camavinga too is often seen praising David Alaba which is evident from his recent remarks claiming, “Honestly, they all made me feel comfortable, without exception. I think I’m quite friendly and open. When I have a question, I’ll ask it.”
Alaba has been great and has proved all his doubters wrong. Not many people thought he’d be able to perform so well in center-back at Los Blancos, but he has, and the Austrian has exceeded all expectations, truly. Since his arrival at the club last summer, the club has won all trophies that a Spanish club could win.
As far as Real Madrid is concerned, it is no nonsense to ensure that the white club was right in the transfer market with the additions of David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga. Ceballos’ absence will hurt Real Madrid’s depth in the midfield. The Spanish midfielder should be back for the return leg at the Etihad Stadium, although his role in that game will likely be a minor one given the circumstances. Ceballos is yet to sign a contract extension with Real Madrid and is set to become a free agent this summer.
