Manchester City striker Erling Haaland‘s father Alfie Haaland was escorted out of a corporate box at the Santiago Bernabéu last night during the UCL semifinal of Manchester City against Real Madrid. He was accused of allegedly insulting and throwing food at Real Madrid supporters.

Alf-Inge Haaland was at the Santiago Bernabeu last night in order to support his son. Man City secured a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final. He reportedly did not go down well with the home support.

The Norwegian was reportedly seen throwing food from his box and insulting local fans, according to reports. This became pretty evident with the Norwegian former footballer making a number of gestures towards the Bernabeu. This lapped up his villain role.

On the pitch, his son Erling reportedly struggled to make an impact as he was martialed by Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba. But there’s no doubt that he will be looking forwards to his return at the Etihad.

In Spain, the potential for Haaland to join Real Madrid down the line very much remains a topic of conversation in Madrid. However, this is unlikely to facilitate cordial conversations as per reports.

Manchester City are reportedly ready to sell Portuguese Bernardo Silva. Although they might take that road only if a bid that suits them comes is placed on the table.

Man City will not stand in the way of the Portugal international midfielder if they get £75 million in transfer fees for him. The club paid AS Monaco £43 million for Silva back in the summer of 2017.

According to reports, Silva reportedly wanted to leave for Barcelona last summer. But City was reluctant to sell him. Barcelona came for Silva again in the January transfer window, but City stopped the Portuguese star from leaving.

Barca still remains keen on Silva, who also has interest from PSG. City reportedly have now made a U-turn over their stance and are willing to sell the 28-year-old, described as a “special” player. Pep Guardiola, in a recent interview, claimed that “Silva can play everywhere because he understands the game perfectly and every action with and without the ball.”
