WATCH: How a young Cristiano Ronaldo performed the ‘Anthony 360 turn’ way back in his first instinct at Manchester United

After his £86 million deadline-day deal, Antony has earned a reputation for being a showboat with his 360-degree turn. Manchester United tweeted a video of their new star performing his signature move with the hashtag “TM” after his Twitter handle and the statement “360 on repeat”.
A video of a young Ronaldo completing the 360 turn while on international duty has surfaced online, suggesting that it is a skill that is in demand. The Portuguese superstar can be seen in the video effectively doing the trick prior to passing the ball.
Since Ronaldo was unable to negotiate a transfer away from Old Trafford this summer, Antony will refer to the player as a teammate at Man United. And the 22-year-old is happy to be playing for Erik ten Hag once more after their time together at Ajax and is enthusiastic about the next phase of his career.

What Anthony had to say about his €100 million to Manchester United?
“This is an incredible moment in my career to be joining one of the most iconic clubs in the world,” he told the club’s official website. “I’m thankful to everyone who has believed in me, especially my family, and all my coaches and team-mates, because I could not have got here without them.”
“Playing under Erik ten Hag at Ajax was perfect for me and my development. His style of football and coaching brings out the best in me, and I am excited by what he has told me about his plans and ambitions in Manchester.

“My time at Ajax was fantastic and I will always be grateful for the trust they put in me, but now I am ready for the next challenge, and I can’t wait to join my new team-mates and play my part in bringing success to Manchester United.”
When asked if Antony could make his Man United debut against Arsenal, Ten Hag didn’t reveal too much. After his team’s 1-0 victory over Leicester, he was questioned about if the forward would face Arsenal. He responded: “We will have to see.”
