Manchester City players flew to the United States to begin their pre-season training as they gear up to defend the Premier League titles and also end their European silverware drought.
However, as the players entered the training facilities they were greeted by a rather unusual mascot from Man City to cheer up their day, and Jack Grealish’s reaction to it is priceless.
One being complimented in his ‘Symmetrical face’, Grealish is stunned for a second and he begins to thank the mascot as he says ‘Cheers’ and proceeds to enter the training ground. Several other players also react as they encounter the person outside.
Jack Grealish is ready to justify his £100 million price tag to Manchester City this season
Last season, Manchester City smashed the British transfer record to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for a record of £100 million. However, the player failed to live up to the hype at Manchester.
In 38 appearances across all competitions, Grealish managed 6 goals and 4 assists. His performances were so under par that Pep Guardiola was forced to bench the ENglihsman towards the middle of the season.
This was Greaish’s worst season in the Premier League as he has provided more with a weaker Aston Villa in previous years. However, this season, the player will aim to finally break through.
With City having signed Erling Haaland. The winger will be more confident in creating better chances and even raking up more assists for his team this season.
