Jordi Alba, one of Barcelona’s modern greats, married his longtime girlfriend Romarey Ventura in the spectacular hacienda located in Seville, where they met, and in the presence of several great protagonists from the world of football.

“Seven and a half years together, 2 children and many stories to tell,” wrote the influencer and fashion icon in Spain on Instagram hours before the wedding with current and former Barcelona and Spanish teammates joining them in their special moment

A large number of players who wore the Barcelona shirt and are still part of the first team were among the guests who arrived at the venue by bus from the city center.

The bride and groom chose the Hacienda de Orán, a farm in the town of Utrera, as the location for their wedding. Once the bride and groom said “yes, I do,” they both approached the hacienda’s entrance area, where the journalists were, and kissed for the cameras.

Both arrived in a luxurious vintage Chrysler car to thank those present, and during a press question, the  Barca player even said, “I have the best” in reference to the woman who has now become his wife and mother of Piero (4 years old) and Bruna (almost 2).

Lionel Messi was joined by his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, as well as Uruguayan Luis Suárez, who walked hand in hand with Sofa Balbi. Sergio Busquets’ wife, Elena Galera, was one of the bridesmaids, and former teammate and now coach Xavi Hernández and Cesc Fábregas also arrived at the farm where the ceremony and afterparty were held.

Others in attendance included Athletico Madrid’s Koke and former Arsenal player Santi Cazorla, Sergio Ramos and his wife Pilar Rubio, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, and Alvaro Morata, who performed with Alba in the Spanish team for several years.

The absence of Barcelona captain Gerard Pique was notable. The Catalan defender, who has played alongside Jordi Alba in the Barcelona team for many years, did not attend the wedding because he was in the midst of a divorce from singer Shakira, which included rumours of infidelity on the part of the center-back.
