Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez became parents of another twin this week but his baby boy faced a tragic death which left the Portuguese heartbroken. After Ronaldo scored the only goal in a 3-1 loss to Arsenal, he celebrated his 100th Premier League goal by pointing at heaven to dedicate the goal to his late son.

Cristiano Ronaldo usually performs his “SIUU” celebration after he scores a goal but he didn’t celebrate his century goal to pay tribute to his son dwelling in heaven.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez were expecting a twin for the past few months in addition to his four children including two sons and two daughters. Despite giving birth to a boy and a girl, the girl survived but unfortunately, the son couldn’t survive which marks a tragic death.

Ronaldo didn’t feature in the last match against Liverpool to stay by the side of his family but had returned to training before the match against Arsenal. He went through this hard situation and scored his 100th league goal for the Red Devils but faced another defeat to Arsenal.

Cristiano Ronaldo had scored 84 league goals during his first term with Manchester United, following his record move to Real Madrid in 2009. In Real Madrid, he achieved many record-breaking feats to include himself in the history of the club. He scored 311 club goals for Real Madrid in La Liga, becoming the highest scorer ever for Real Madrid. He is also the top scorer in the Champions League and the all-time leading scorer for Real Madrid.

After rejoining Manchester United last summer, he has scored 16 times in the league and 7 times in the champions league to take his total tally to 21 goals this season. Ronaldo now has the record for being the first player to score 100 league goals at two different top-flight leagues. Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest scorer for Manchester United this season but his performance didn’t help the team to shine or get their hands on any of the trophies this season.
