WATCH: Neymar ignores Kylian Mbappe to train with Lionel Messi during PSG’s latest pre-season training
Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi returned to the pitch
The relationship between Neymar and Kylian Mbappe would have cooled down after the end of the last season, or at least that seems to indicate a video that has gone viral on social networks, after the return to training of the PSG in France with a view to the 2022/23 campaign.
In the video, you can see the Frenchman stretching out his hands to the Brazilian to do physical conditioning work, without receiving any reaction. A team assistant had to approach him so that Mbappr would not miss out on training, while Neymar totally changed his attitude when he saw Leo Messi with whom he did agree to work immediately.
The video did not go unnoticed on the networks and has generated thousands of comments since it would reveal a break in the bond between the PSG stars. Earlier reports claimed that the pair are not on speaking terms and Mbappe now being given the power to take major decisions at Parc des Princes wanted Neymar to be sold but those reports were denied by Mbappe’s mother and agent.
PSG’s new manager Chrisphoe Galtier wants Neymar to stay for the new season
PSG’s newly appointed manager, Christophe Galtier has already expressed his desire to have Neymar with the team for the following season. There was a lot of speculation at the beginning of the transfer window about the Brazilian. With Mbappe secured, and Messi staying for another year, rumours suggested that the winger could be sold by the club this summer.
Speaking in his first press conference as the new manager of Paris Saint-Germain, Christophe Galtier spoke about the Brazilian winger. He said, “I want Neymar to stay here with us. He’s kind of world-class player, all the managers in the world want top players like him. I’ve already clear ideas on my plan for Neymar here at PSG”.
As for the 30-year-old, he will be keen to impress the new manager and become an undisputed starter for the club as they begin a new season with the same old objective, European Glory. The former Barcelona player has scored 100 goals for Paris Saint-Germain while assisting a further 60 times for the Parisian club.
