Jose Mourinho was spotted walking away from a confrontational scene at the end of AS Roma’s match against Napoli. Mourinho had been booked during the game and probably did not want any further trouble with the match officials.

In his management career, the 59-year-old has received a substantial chunk of bookings. Despite being a passionate and enthusiastic manager throughout games, he frequently finds himself the target of disciplinary actions.

Players and staff from both teams seemed to fight after the final whistle. Hirving Lozano “attacked one of my men,” according to Mourinho, who also argued that Rick Karsdorp was not sent off despite the referee showing the card to the player who was involved. The Roma manager said: “I think it was my fitness coach who got sent off.” but insisted the card should have been shown to Lozano.

Roma's Jose Mourinho v Napoli

Jose Mourinho has accused Napoli’s forward Hirving Lozano of attacking his player at the end of the clash between AS Roma and Napoli. The two sides squared off at the Stadio Olimpico on October 23, with ugly scenes seen at the end of the game.

Both groups of players got into a fight, and the referee produced a red card. Rick Karsdorp of Roma was reportedly shown a red card, but Mourinho explained that one of his staff members actually received one. “I think it was my fitness coach who was sent off, but the referee got it wrong because Lozano attacked one of my men,” he said.
